A Jeep Safari through the Sand Dunes of Rajasthan is the perfect way to explore the true charm of the sleeping villages and the rustic barren trail of Thar Desert. The journey takes you through the well-kept secrets of the desert – from nocturnal shades of the sun to ever changing colors of the vast sea of shimmering sand and barren land..Giving you a peek into the rural Rajasthan, the safari takes you back to the bygone era of the state….
Day 1: Arrive – Delhi
Welcome to India- a country where hospitality is a way of life ; to a culture steeped in tradition, a land where history lives in music and dance. You will be received at the airport in a traditional manner with garlands and proceed to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 2: Delhi
Morning after breakfast we will take you for a Heritage Walk through the narrow lanes of Old Delhi. Your walk leader would be your guide who would unfold the colorful history of Old Delhi which goes back thousands of years. The fabulous experience comes to an end with a visit to the Red Fort – One of the magnificent monuments built by the Mughals…. Spend the evening at leisure.
Day 3: Delhi – Jodhpur – Luni
Morning after a relaxed breakfast, we will transfer you to the domestic airport to board flight to Jodhpur (Flight leaves atb 1205 Hrs. / Arrives at 1325 Hrs.). Our representative will receive you at the airport and you will drive down to Phalodi. Afternoon enjoy Jeep Safari through the Bishnoi Village. Evening back to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 4: Luni – Pokhran
Morning after breakfast proceed to Pokhran. En route visit Jodhpur covering Mahrangarh Fort (Situated on a steep hill, Mehrangarh fort is one of the largest forts in India. The beauty and the grandeur of numerous palaces in the fort narrates a saga of hard sandstones yielding to the chisels of skilled Jodhpuri sculptures) and Jaswant Thada- ( located half way up the interminably long road that climbs onwards to the fort, is the traditional cremation ground of the rulers of Jodhpur). Arrive Pokhran and check-in at your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 5: Pokhran – Safari through the Sand Dunes
Today, we start our Jeep Safari from Pokhran. Our jeeps will report at your hotel and we will start our Safari through the little known villages of Thar Desert. The main villages we will cover on the 1st day would be Ujala Village, Baniyana Village, Bhikodai Village, Falsund Village and finally we will put our camp at Chaba Village for overnight stay.
Day 6: Safari Continues….
Post breakfast, we will start the 2nd day of Jeep Safari and proceed to Bharadie Village. The other villages we would cover today are Rajmathai, Bhesda. We will be making our night hault at Dangri Village.
Day 7: Safari Continues….
The 3rd day would begin with the Jeep Safari towards Bhikaji ki Dhani. Some other important villages we would be visiting are Rasla,Nehadie Dwada, Tadana and Moolana. The overnight camping would be set at Moolana.
Day 8: Safari Continues….
Post breakfast we will proceed towards Sodha ki Dhani which would be followed by villages like Bamno ki Dhani, Ascha, Jairath,Basanper and Meghwalo ki Dhani. Today, we will drive back to Jaisalmer and check-in at hotel for overnight stay.
Day 9: Safari Continues….
Morning after breakfast, we will restart our Jeep Safafri and proceed towards Bhu and Bhopa villages. This would be followed by a visit to Narsingh ki Dhani, Digri Village and Chelak Village. At the end of the day, we will put up tents at Devra for overnight stay.
Day 10: Safari Continues….
This morning, we would drive back to Chelak Village frist and then would do safari to villages like Adbala, Hapa, Janra. We will reach Khuri Village by the evening and put up tents for overnight stay.
Day 11: Safari Continues…
Morning breakfast, we will continue our safari through of Barna Village, Sipla Village, Kumar Kotha, Ghuriya Jamda and Kanoi. The night hault would be arranged in the sand dunes of Jaisalmer.
Day 12: Drive back to Jaisalmer
Morning after breakfast, you will drive back to Jaisalmer. Arrive and check-in at your hotel. Afternoon take a guided tour of the Golden City of Rajasthan. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 13: Jaisalmer – Bikaner -Train to Delhi
Morning after a relaxed breakfast drive down to Bikaner. Take your train back to Delhi (Train leaves at 2030 Hrs./Arrives at 0515 Hrs.). Overnight on board the train.
Day 14: Arrive Delhi – Fly Back Home
Arrive Delhi at 0615 Hrs. Our representative will receive you at the airport and take you to your hotel. Check-out in the afternoon and proceed for tour of New Delhi covering Rashtrapati Bhawan (President’s House), India Gate and The Qutab Minar. Evening we will take you to your farewell dinner in one of the Indian Speciality Local Restaurants. Afterwards, you will transfer to the international airport to board flight for onward destination.

Day 06: Khuri-Manvar 250 Kms / 5 Hrs

A Series Of Gates Lead Into The Fort. Like “Jayapol”, Built By Maharaja Man Singh In 1806 ,The ” Fatehpol” Or “Victory Gate “,Erected By Maharaja Ajit Singh To Celebrate His Victory Over The Mughals. The Final Gate Is The “Lahapol”,A Iron Gate ,Beside Which The There Are 15 Hand Prints ,The “Sati Marks” Of Maharaja Man Singh’s Widows Who Threw Themselves Upon His Funeral Pyre In 1843.Inside The Fort.
