Day 01: Kochi

Welcome to God’s own Country!!

Upon arrival at Kochi, our representative would welcome you and vehicle would take you to your hotel. Check in at the hotel. After getting refreshed, go for city tour of Kochi.

Kochi is one of the most important ports of India, located on Arabian Sea. It is also main commercial hub of Kerala.

Kochi has got its own history, and Arabs, British, Chinese, Portuguese rulers have left incredible marks on history and development of Kochi.

In sightseeing tour, you would be visiting Mattancherry Dutch Palace – (closed on Fridays and public holidays), a Jewish Synagogue-(closed on all Saturdays and Jewish holidays) in Jew Town. Also visit St. Francis Church – (closed for visitors on Sundays from 08.00 to 11.00 hrs.) the oldest European Church in India. See the Chinese Fishing Nets, only found in India, along the tip of Fort Cochin.

In the evening, at around 5 pm, you can go for cultural show of Kathakali, which is a world famous classical dance (tickets can be purchased at the venue).Overnight stay at Kochi.

Day 02: Kochi – Munnar (127 kms/ approx 4 hours)                                 

Today after breakfast depart to Munnar. A picturesque journey brings you in hill station of Munnar, located in Western Ghats. Munnar is famous for tea plantations, mystique valleys, species of flora and fauna.

Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. Rest of time is free to explore this beautiful destination.Overnight stay at Munnar.

Day 03: Munnar

After breakfast, enjoy local sightseeing of Munnar. Visit Mattupetty dam, Munnar town, church and tea estates.

Day 04: Munnar – Thekkady (124 kms/ approx 4 hours)

After breakfast, proceed to your next destination, Thekkady. Thekkady is famous for spice planations and one of the most fascinating wildlife sanctuary of Periyar. Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. After getting refreshed, you would be going for local sightseeing of Thekkady. Visit spice plantations around and other places of tourist interest.Overnight stay at Thekkady.

Day 05: Visit to Periyar wildlife sanctuary / Thekkady – Alleppey (148Kms / approx 5 hours)

Early in the morning, at around 6 am, you would be going to visit Periyar wildlife sanctuary. Enjoy boat ride at lake Periyar (tickets payable directly). You can see wide variety of animals and birds in this sanctuary. Back to the hotel. After breakfast, proceed to your next yet another beautiful destination, Alleppey. Upon arrival at Alleppey, check in at your resort. Alleppey is situated on the banks of Vembanad lake – the backwaters which everyone wants to experience. You can enjoy in house facilities at your resort or you can go for spa treatments. You can also take a boat ride in backwaters.Overnight stay at Alleppey.

Day 06: Alleppey – Kovalam (175kms/ approx 5 hours)

After your breakfast, transfer to Kovalam.  Kovalam is one of the most sought after beach destination in Kerala.Upon arrival at Kovalam, check in at the hotel. After getting refreshed, visit beaches in and around Kovalam. Here you can enjoy water sports and other leisure activities on the beach. Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 07: Kanyakumari and Thiruvanantapuram excursion (100 Km / Approx 2 hrs. one way)

After having breakfast and leisurely morning time, you would be going for an excursion tour of Thiruvanantapuram. Thiruvanantapuram is capital of Kerala and is famous for temples and architectures. Visit famous Shri Padmanabhaswami Temple (saree for ladies and dhoti for gentlemen is mandatory to wear), Raja Ravi Varma Art Gallery and other places of tourist interest./You can also go for a day trip of Kanyakumari.

Kanyakumari is the southernmost tip of mainland India. Tiny town located on confluence of Indian Ocean, Arabian sea and Bay of Bengal, is always full of devotees and tourists. In Kanyakumari, visit Kumari Mata temple and Vivekananda Rock. After having magnificent views of sunset, return back to Kovalam.Overnight stay at Kovalam.

Day 08: Departure from Kovalam

After experiencing mountains, wildlife, backwaters and beaches, it’s time to say good bye to vibrant Kerala. After breakfast, transfer to Thiruvanantapuram airport or railway station, as per your onward connection
